Summary of workshop:
The LGA would like to invite you to an information day on Climate Local – the new framework to support councils’ ambition and actions on dealing with our changing climate.

Full description of workshop:
Climate Local has been developed for and with councils. Many of you will have been involved in our consultations to date and we would like to thank you for your input. Please hold the 20th June in your diary for the Information event, We are working closely with lead government departments and are inviting them to the event for an opportunity to say how they will support council’s local actions through Climate Local. This will be a two-way information event – as well as an opportunity to find out more about Climate Local, we would like your feedback as to how best the LGA and national partners can further help your council over the coming years.

The attached flyer provides further information on Climate Local. Please hold this date in your diary. The event will run approximately between 11am to 3pm and will be held in Bevin Hall, LG House, Smith Square, London.
