This breakfast briefing will invite a discussion that begins with the needs of the energy user in this forthcoming transition and moves on to explore the criticalities and dependencies of the options available to decarbonise heat.

Speaker

Graham Meeks, Director, Combined Heat & Power Association

Graham is the Director of the UK Combined Heat and Power Association, having assumed the role in August 2007. He was previously Head of Fuels & Heat at the Renewable Energy Association and prior to that was a Director of the advisory team of specialist investment bank Climate Change Capital. Between 2000 and 2003 he was Head of Policy at the CHPA, following an early career in consultancy, energy management and the army (Royal Engineers). Graham is an engineer by background, with a BEng from Leeds University and an MSc from Imperial College, London.
