BERR’s Energy Measures Report
Action by local authorities is critical to the achievements of the Government’s climate change and energy objectives.
This Energy Measures Report, published on 18 September 2007, sets out the steps that local authorities can take to:
improve energy efficiency;
increase the levels of microgeneration and low carbon technologies;
reduce greenhouse gas emissions; and
reduce the number of households living in fuel poverty.
CREATE motivates and educates people in businesses, communities, and schools to achieve more sustainable uses of energy and reduce carbon emissions. CREATE provides training, consultancy and project management.
